Summary

One of the greatest challenges with “procuring resilience” is knowing what to build or buy. Cities need support to become better consumers of resilience solutions. Currently, the tendency is to procure the familiar, which can keep cities locked into historical decisions that perpetuate vulnerability rather than build resilience. The Adaptation Atlas is a new web platform designed to help cities identify, compare, evaluate, and eventually procure resilient infrastructure solutions.
