Rebuild By Design Resiliency Design Competition

Summary

In November 2013, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) selected 10 finalist Design Opportunities to be pursued in the final stage of Rebuild by Design and in June 2014, Secretary Shaun Donovan of HUD announced the award of $930M to the winning ideas. Rebuild by Design is continuing to work with local governments and communities to ensure that the integrity, ambition and innovation of the selected proposals are included in the built designs. Rebuild by Design is also committed to supporting the proposals that will not receive federal disaster recovery funding, by leveraging the knowledge built by these teams.
